Tomáš Polcar (*1973, Prague) studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague between 1991 and 1998 under Hugo Demartini, Aleš Veselý, and Milan Knížák. His practice frequently explores cyclical phenomena and the structural essence of matter. He lives and works in Slavětín nad Ohří.
